Beach Day!
We woke up early today, and decided to get ready and go!
We found these breakfast drinks in the local supermarket, they've been a life saver the last couple of days.
After a quick google, we found an area with a few beaches marked out, so we decided to head in that direction.
It turns out, we manage to find the smallest idyllic little beach with no-one else on it, and a lovely view across the bay.
After a few hours, we both decided we were hungry, so off we went to find a little café.
As we were in the posh part of town, we were apprehensive on the places we would find, but we found a lovely little café called "Dear Jervois" with reasonable prices and a good choice. I got a burger, and Abi got a Caesar salad.
I was told to take a photo of my coffee as it looked too good, only Abi was too late in telling me..
It still tasted fantastic though, despite my best effort of ruining it's look!
With lunch settled, we decided to walk back along the promenade, a nice casual 3.5miles, but with beautiful scenery, and plenty of fancy boats to look at!
We went back to the hotel to relax for a few hours, we'd walked around 8 miles total already!
In the evening, we headed out to the Shisha bar again, relaxing and listening to some music.
Around 9pm we grabbed dinner, headed back to the hotel, and then tried to sleep.
As it was Friday night, and the room was warm so the windows were open, there was quite a lot of noise from the surrounding area. Around 12.30 this stopped, so we were able to sleep.
On to the last full day in Auckland!
